So I have been a little disconnected from the blog world lately. I guess something had to go this last few weeks and it just happened to be blogging. I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and are enjoying time with your families. We are in Utah and I am here without my camera cord so unfortunately no photos will accompany this post. I promise to add more than you will want to see when I get home.
We had a great Christmas the girls were so happy and had so much fun. They are still soaking up every bit of it. They are currently in new dress up clothes that grandma got for her house dancing around listening to the Hairspray (they are Broadway girls at heart) soundtrack on their new Hello Kitty radio. Ryan is playing Call of Duty on the XBox, and I am doing this. It is such a change of pace from the past few weeks. I love it! We are planning on doing some sledding today since their is tons of snow here.
A lot of our holiday as spent traveling but it has all worked out well and allows us to see all of our family so its worth it. We spent the weekend before Christmas in Burley with Ryan's family and then went home for Christmas Eve and part of Christmas day. We then drove to Utah to be with my family and plan on staying here for a few more days, we will probably stop by Burley again and then head home. I hope you all enjoy the rest of your holiday!! p.s. I dropped my cell phone in the toilet, well it slipped out of my pocket, so if you need us call Ryan's phone. It has been kind of nice to be forced to be disconnected, but I am so sad about my cute pink razor phone. Anyway, I was pretty upset about it at first, but that is what is great about Christmas it makes you find happiness and good in everything.

Holiday Fun for the 2nd week in Dec.
The week started out by making a Gingerbread house for family night. The girls begged me to buy the gingerbread house kit at Costco. It was actually pretty easy and turned out pretty good. They had a lot of fun putting it together. Bailey did a lot of the decorating, Ellie ate a lot of candy!
On Wednesday we finally got our tree. It was a pretty warm day and Ryan got home early so it was a good night to pick a tree. We found a good one at the nursery close by our house. It took us Wed. and Thurs. nights to get it all decorated. The kids put the ornaments on and then I had to do a little "rearranging" after they were in bed. Just to make sure we had ornament all over the tree not just in the middle of the front.
Friday night our friends had a Santa party. There quite a few kids there from our ward, so it made it really fun the girls to watch all of their friends get to see Santa. They all sang songs with Santa and then he would reach into his bag and he had a present for each kid. They got to sit on his lap and chat with him for a few minutes and then open their presents. The kids thought it was great, he was a really good Santa. It was a fun party.

Tagged ---Finally Complying
I have been tagged a few different times, so I am finally coming through. Each tag has come with its own format, so since I promised Sarah I would do it this time I will follow her latest format. This tag will include 7 random facts about myself that most of you don't know, and then tag 7 other people. So here goes............
7. I know 99% of the words to 99% of the Beach Boy songs, including their Christmas album. This really is not by choice, it comes from my dad who has every album ever made and played all of them all the time. Every family trip, every Sat. it just sticks with you after 29 years. While I don't have a great love for the Beach Boys, I did learn to love some oldies but goodies thanks to my dad. Some you might find on my ipod: The Beatles, Elton John, Billy Joel, James Taylor, and my fav. The Eagles.
6. I know quite a bit about sports, for a girl, this also stems from my dad, no boys in the house and a dad who loves football. My dad taught me most of what I know about professional football and basketball, but I was opened up to a whole new world when I met Ryan, college football and basketball. Once again no choice but to learn about it, and I actually like it. I also don't mind watching golf, just the majors, but not as boring as you would think. I know nothing about Nascar or Hockey and I am okay with that. I have never felt such heartache from the sporting world, as I did from the Utah Jazz in the mid to late 90's. Some of you may have experienced this same pain.
5. I really want to run the Boston Marathon someday. I am not near fast enough to qualify at this point in my life, but hopefully when my kids are older and I can devote more time to training and I can get faster. Also, running the top of Utah Marathon to qualify should help, lots of down hill I hear. Might as well have a goal right?
4. I once was a scalper for U2 tickets. When I was in college you still had to get wristbands to buy tickets to concerts. Well my roommates and I got a little tip from a friend that tickets were going on sale. We each went and got a wristband and bought the maximum amount of tickets. We then sold them to other college kids at insane prices. Not sure how moral or legal this was, but we each made like 500 bucks and had dang good seats for the concert.
3. I think it would be fun to be a chef and go to culinary school. I really like good food and would love to make it the way they do. I watch food network a lot and think to myself I could do that, but I never actually do it or if I do it never turns out as good as theirs looks.
2. Every so often I will have a lucky streak. I have won a few things in my lifetime. It goes in spurts though sometimes really lucky other times not so much. Some of the cool things I have won...... cash, clothes, cordless phone, a trip to Jamaica, and my very favorite, which I didn't win a sweet lady just thought I looked nice, next to the stage tickets and backstage passes for the Kenny Chesney concert in Vegas. I was also able to bring my sisters down with me... yeah they liked me a lot that day.

I am due at the end of May. I am thinking it is a boy this time but you never know. I haven't been quite as sick and have been craving different things this time. Sour stuff instead of sweet, which "they" say means boy and you know how accurate "they" are. We haven't told the girls yet, I am having an ultrasound right before Christmas so hopefully they will be able to tell boy or girl, and then we will tell them on Christmas eve.

Happy December
It is officially here, and we are all so excited. We have spent most of the week getting all of our Christmas stuff out. The girls have really been into everything this year, wanting to decorate and listen to Christmas music everyday, they are already so excited. Yesterday was the end of the season for college football, (we still have ALL the bowl games so don't shed a tear just yet) but Bailey did not care, Ryan had to get the lights on the house no matter what. So while he was on the roof she was yelling the score to him out the window. A good compromise!! We didn't get the tree yesterday, the day just wasn't long enough so hopefully tomorrow for family night. We did decorate the little trees for the girls to put in their rooms, they were so excited they wouldn't go to bed tonight. We heard them upstairs singing Christmas songs and saying how beautiful the lights were. They were also excited to sing Christmas songs at church today, I love singing Christmas Hymns it just makes me happy :) We hope you all enjoy the holiday season. What a great time of year!!
