Last night for family night we talked about Thanksgiving and about all of the things that we are Thankful for. Everyone had a piece of paper divided into 6 squares and we all had to draw or write things we were thankful for. Even Logan. Here are the things everyone came up with......

We have much much more to be thankful for but I love that the girls came up with them all by themselves. The list could go on and on and I am grateful for this season, so we can all realize they many blessings that we have been given.

Bailey's Turkey Day Projects

Bay came home from school today with all of these super cute Thanksgiving crafts that she made at school. I thought they were worth taking pictures of.

Ellie's Feast

Yesterday Ellie had a Thanksgiving Feast at her school. All of the kids dressed up as either Pilgrims or Indians. Ellie's class was Pilgrims. It was very cute and they went all out with the food, it really was a feast. She was able to sit by her friends Brinley and Rex. She loved all the food and is excited for Thanksgiving, we were in charge of bringing some Jell-O jigglers. Ellie wanted to take purple and blue ones, not the most Thanksgivingish colors, but fun colors. I was glad I was able to be there with her.

Color Guard / Bloody Nose / and the Missing Pants

Last week for Girl Scouts they had a birthday party for their founder with all of the troops in our area. Bailey's leader was in charge of it so our troop was able to do the color guard for the ceremony. Bailey was in charge of reading and bringing in the troop to do the color guard. She did a great job. I was proud of her for doing it, there were a lot of people there.

Ellie is a wild child as usual, she has gotten two bloody noses in the past week. The first time I was partly to blame, she was climbing on my legs and the slipped and she fell flat on her face. Sad! It bled a little, but on Sat. she was running into her room and tripped and slammed her nose onto Bailey's bed frame. It bled a lot! That poor girl and her nose, she is seriously going to need reconstructive surgery when she gets older. She has hit it, smashed, slammed it, quite a few times. Anyway it wasn't funny but looking at these pictures of her make me laugh. She was fine after a few minutes and was back running around. Ryan is also very prone to bloody noses so I figure it could be in the genes a little.

Logan loves undressing his lower half these days. It started with his shoes, then his socks, he seriously ALWAYS has cold feet. I have tried 5 or 6 different kinds of socks, he can get them all off. He has now moved on to his pants. If his pants are even at all lose he can get them off. Once he does he is so proud of himself and just laughs and rolls and rolls. These pictures are of his jammies that he took off about 5 min. after I put them on. He started army crawling a little this week and loves to roll under the couches or beds. He is a busy boy!

Church Baby ?

The past few Sunday's Logan has really found his voice at church. He is definitely not a newborn anymore. He loves to squeal, laugh, scream and he never stops moving. Kicking and head banging are some of his favorites. I have kind of forgotten how crazy church can be with babies. Do I already have to start counting down to nursery?? I guess the hall roaming will begin shortly. Oh well, he is worth it. It is fun and sad to watch him growing up, it is going so fast he rolls and scoots on his back everywhere and he got himself out of his Bumbo today. I thought he was going to be the mellow one, but I am beginning to think differently.

Not too much more has been going on. Bailey had a few days off from school last week for parent teacher conference. Her teacher said she is doing really well, in some things I can tell she is one of the youngest kids in her class, but in others she does really well. It is hard as a parent to know what else you need to be doing to help your child in their school work. I feel like I work with her a lot I just hope it is enough.

We finally went to see High School Musical 3, the girls loved it. I also found it enjoyable to watch. It was fun to just take the girls and see how excited they were. I am sure we will be adding 10 more HSM songs to our memories soon.

HAPPY HALLOWEEN

We had a great Halloween, it seems like we have been celebrating it for over a week. With the trunk R treat, school parties and the actual day, we have gotten a lot of use out of our costumes and more candy than we will ever need. Bailey didn't' have school on Halloween so once Ellie got home, and after we took this cute picture in their Halloween shirts, we spent the rest of the day at the corn maize doing all of the fun activities there. It wasn't very busy so we were able to just play and hang out at our own pace. Thanks to my friend Hill and her great operation out there. It worked out perfect because, I needed to do something to keep the kids busy until it was finally time for trick or treating. When the time finally arrived there was plenty of fun to be had.

I joked that the costumes should have been reversed seeing that Logan really is an angel but I think they turned out pretty cute and the kids loved it.

Logan just enjoyed being able to be outside for most of the day. He LOVES being outside.

The weather was great, it was a perfect fall day. It was excellent trick or treating weather, no jackets to cover up the costumes were necessary, the kids went until the couldn't fit any more candy in their buckets. Bailey actually came home and dumped some out and then went back out for a few more houses. They loved running around with their friends. It was fun watching them, Ellie actually said "trick or treat smell my feet" to a few people........I swear that girl..... at least she said Thank You afterwards.

Before trick or treating we had dinner at one of our friends house, she always makes an amazing meal in a pumpkin which the kids think is a lot of fun. It was a perfect way to start of the Halloween night.

Here are a few more photos from some of the weeks activities. Ellie's school did a fall festival where they played games and won some cute prizes. Bailey's class had a party on Thursday, she was in charge of bringing drinks, so we made homemade root beer with dry ice. The kids thought it was pretty cool. It was fun being able to be a part of both of their parties. We decided that we would paint pumpkins this year instead of carve them.
