-Today Bailey's class at school did a Mother's Day presentation for all of the moms. The kids had all written notes about why they love their moms and read them to us. It was really cute some of the kids were so shy but they still got up and read in front of everyone. They also decorated their seats for us to sit and wrote notes to us at their desks, made us crate paper flowers, and wrote little messages to us on the white board. Bailey's message said "You Rock Mom" her new favorite statement. Then the kids served us cookies and juice. A very fun mom moment.

I'm pretty sure I remembered to put makeup on that morning, but this picture does not reflect that in any way. Very crazy day, but spending this moment with Bay was awesome.
-We had also had the Primary Talent Show last Friday. It was really cute and the perfect place for all of the kids to showcase some of their amazing talents. Ellie said she wanted to sing a song with her sister, but Bailey did not want anything to do with that. As a compromise we decided that Bailey would play a song on the piano while Ellie sang. Ellie really wanted If the Savior Stood Beside Me, but since Bay has only been playing the piano since January we again made a compromise and decided onTwinkle Twinkle Little Star
They both did a great job. They started and ended at the same time with no mistakes so I count that as a great success.

My parents also came to town this weekend and we kept them hoppin the entire time. At least they got a lot of those "my grand kids are great moments" They were able to come to the talent show and afterward they wanted to take Ellie to dinner for her birthday. Without hesitation she chose the Olive Garden. She loves that place, it was fun to watch her get so excited knowing that the dinner was just for her. They sang their birthday to her and everything.
